The Importance of Sleep

This session looks at how to manage and organise your life when working. Physical, emotional and mental health issues are addressed and suggestions and practices are offered that aim to enhance your life. The session will give a brief description of health & wellbeing, followed by an explanation of sleep, an overview of sleep hygiene and why sleep is important. Following this session, attendees will gain awareness around sleep and health, and will be equipped with practical tools, tips and information around sleep.

About Tom Coleman

Tom Coleman is the co-founder of My Nutrition Ireland and has worked with elite athletes, world class coaches and brand leaders in business and sports. He has a background in Health Science and is a specialist in Health, Nutrition and Performance. Tom has also worked with the IRUPA (Irish Rugby Union Players Association) on Sleep and the impact on recovery and health. As well as working with professional athletes from several sports, Tom also gives talks and workshops on Nutrition, Healthy Eating, Sleep, Stress and other areas of Health. He is currently utilizing leading edge technology in Fatigue Science to optimize recovery, monitor and predict fatigue in elite athletes as well as Fatigue Risk Assessment for business..
